Welcome to La Fontaine SRL. These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to, browsing and use of the website lafontaine.com.uy (the “Site”), as well as the purchase of products and services offered by La Fontaine SRL.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, you must refrain from using the Site.

2. Use of the Site

Access to and use of the Site is the sole responsibility of the user.

The user agrees to use the Site lawfully and in accordance with applicable legislation, refraining from carrying out any activity that may damage, overload or affect the operation of the Site or the rights of third parties.

La Fontaine SRL reserves the right to restrict or suspend access to the Site when improper use is detected.

3. Products and Services

La Fontaine SRL offers a selection of jewelry, watches, antiques and collectible objects.

All products and prices available on the Site are subject to availability and may be modified without prior notice.

Products and offers available on the Website may not be available in physical stores, and vice versa.

Buyers must be of legal age.

La Fontaine SRL may also offer appraisal, repair or purchase services for jewelry, watches or precious metals, which may be subject to specific conditions.

4. Product Descriptions

La Fontaine SRL seeks to ensure that the descriptions, specifications and images of products published on the Site are as accurate as possible.

However, such descriptions may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or unintentional variations.

Published images are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly reflect the final product.

La Fontaine SRL reserves the right to correct any error, omission or inaccuracy at any time.

5. Product Variations

Our products may present certain variations in:

• sizes
• finishes
• textures

The size guide is approximate and some variation may exist.

Likewise, the colors displayed on the Site may vary depending on:

• screen settings
• lighting
• device used

6. Gemstones and Natural Materials

Precious and semi-precious stones are natural products and may therefore present variations in:

• tone
• color
• transparency
• inclusions
• appearance

These characteristics are inherent to their nature and do not constitute product defects.

7. Product Authenticity

La Fontaine SRL guarantees the authenticity of the products sold when this is expressly stated in the item description or when the product has the corresponding certifications.

In the case of watches, jewelry, antique pieces or collectible items, products may show normal signs of use or wear consistent with their age.

8. Prices

Prices published on the Site are expressed in the currency indicated for each product.

La Fontaine SRL reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice.

If, due to an unintentional error, a product is published with an incorrect price, La Fontaine SRL reserves the right to cancel the transaction and offer the customer the possibility of making the purchase at the correct price or receiving the corresponding refund.

9. Payment Methods

The payment method accepted on the Site is MercadoPago, including domestic and international payments.

The specific conditions of the payment provider, including financing options or settlement times, shall be governed by the terms of that platform.

10. Shipping and Delivery

La Fontaine SRL currently does not make deliveries within Uruguay.

All products must be collected from our physical store, subject to prior coordination by telephone or email.

For international shipments, customers must contact La Fontaine SRL directly to coordinate costs, insurance and shipping methods.

Customs duties or other taxes applicable outside the national territory of Uruguay shall be the responsibility of the customer.

11. Delivery Details

The identity and address of the person to whom delivery will be made shall be those indicated by the customer when completing the purchase request.

La Fontaine SRL shall not be responsible for errors arising from incorrect information provided by the customer.

Any expense generated by such errors shall be paid by the customer.

12. Returns and Exchanges

Returns

Returns are accepted within 5 business days from the date of purchase, provided that the product is in the same condition in which it was delivered, including the original packaging.

Exchanges

Exchanges for other merchandise are allowed within 30 days after purchase.

Non-returnable Products

Wedding bands and products made or modified to order are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

13. Refunds

Refunds will be processed at our physical store and will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase.

If incorrect charges have been invoiced, the customer must contact La Fontaine’s Customer Service team by email at info@lafontaine.com.uy.

14. Warranties and Repairs

La Fontaine SRL offers a one (1) year warranty from the date of purchase for defects in materials or workmanship.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• accidents
• improper use
• normal wear and tear
• unauthorized repairs

For any warranty claim, the customer must present the product together with the corresponding invoice.

15. Communications via WhatsApp

By providing their telephone number or carrying out a transaction with La Fontaine SRL, the customer authorizes the sending of electronic communications through instant messaging services, including the WhatsApp platform.

These communications may include:

• transaction follow-up
• delivery coordination
• commercial information
• requests for customer reviews or satisfaction ratings

The customer may revoke this consent at any time by replying to the received message with the word BAJA or by writing to info@lafontaine.com.uy.

16. Transaction Security

La Fontaine SRL reserves the right to cancel or suspend any transaction when there are reasonable indications of fraud, misuse of payment methods or inconsistencies in the information provided by the customer.

17. Data Protection

La Fontaine SRL is committed to protecting its customers’ privacy and complying with Uruguay’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 18,331.

The personal data collected will be used exclusively to:

• process orders
• coordinate deliveries
• improve the customer experience
• send authorized commercial communications

18. Intellectual Property

The La Fontaine brand, its logos, designs, texts, images and any material published on the Site are the exclusive property of La Fontaine SRL or their respective owners.

Their reproduction, distribution or modification without prior written authorization is prohibited.

19. Site Availability

La Fontaine SRL does not guarantee that the Site will be permanently available or that it will operate free of errors or interruptions.

Access to the Site may be temporarily suspended due to maintenance, updates or technical reasons.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, La Fontaine SRL shall not be liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Site or from products purchased.

The maximum liability of La Fontaine SRL in any case shall not exceed the amount effectively paid for the corresponding product.

21. Modification of the Terms

La Fontaine SRL reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Any change shall become effective immediately after its publication on the Site.

22. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.

Any dispute arising from their interpretation or application shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Montevideo.
