Welcome to La Fontaine SRL. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the access to and use of our website [lafontaine.com.uy] ("Site") and the products and services we offer. By accessing or using our Site, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Products and Services

We offer a selection of jewelry, watches, and antiques. All products and prices available on our Site are subject to availability and may be modified without prior notice. It is possible that the products and offers available on the Website are not available in stores and vice versa. Buyers must be of legal age.

Our products may have certain variations in both colors and sizes. Additionally, the size guide is approximate, and there may be some variation. Please keep this in mind before making your purchase.

The colors of the products displayed on the Website also depend on many factors, including your screen settings.

All products are subject to availability. La Fontaine is not responsible for the failure to notify the lack of stock of the purchased item. In such a case, a refund will be issued, or the customer will be offered to exchange the item for another variant.

3. Payment Methods

The only accepted payment method is through MercadoPago. This includes both national and international payments. The specific conditions of MercadoPago, such as financing options and terms, will apply to all transactions.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Currently, we do not offer shipping within Uruguay. All products must be picked up at our physical store after prior coordination by phone or email. For international shipping, customers must contact us directly to coordinate costs and appropriate shipping methods.

Customs duties or other applicable taxes in jurisdictions outside of Uruguay are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid by them.

The identity and delivery address will be the one provided by the customer when completing the purchase request as a user of lafontaine.com.uy and may not match their real address.

La Fontaine is not responsible for errors arising from incorrect information regarding the identity and/or delivery address provided in the purchase request, and any expenses generated as a result will be borne by the customer who provided such erroneous information.

5. Returns and Refunds

• Returns: Returns are accepted within 5 business days from the date of purchase, provided that the product is in the same condition as when it was delivered, including the original packaging.
• Exchanges: Exchanges for other merchandise are allowed within 30 days of purchase, under the same conditions.
• Non-returnable Products: Wedding rings and products that are custom-made or modified are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
• Refunds: Refunds will be processed at our physical store and will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase.

In the event that incorrect charges were billed, the customer must contact La Fontaine's Customer Service team by writing to info@lafontaine.com.uy, and they will address the issue.

6. Warranties and Repairs

We offer a one (1) year warranty from the date of purchase for defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, improper use, ordinary wear and tear, or unauthorized repair attempts. For any warranty claims, the customer must present the product along with the invoice at our store.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to texts, phrases, names, photos, images, graphics, logos, icons, and any other material, is the exclusive property of La Fontaine SRL or its respective owners and is protected by intellectual property laws. The use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of any of these materials without prior written consent from La Fontaine SRL is strictly prohibited.

11. General Terms Related to the Relationship with the Customer

The customer will be responsible for all transactions carried out in their Account, as access to it is restricted to the entry and use of their Security Code, known only to the User.

The customer agrees to notify La Fontaine immediately, or via email by sending an email to info@lafontaine.com.uy of any unauthorized use of their Account, as well as any unauthorized access by third parties.

The sale, assignment, or transfer of the Account under any title is prohibited.

Registration on La Fontaine is free. Users who make purchases will be automatically registered in the database.

By registering on the website, you authorize La Fontaine to use and collect personal data, which will be processed for the purposes of purchase management, postal shipments, communication about products, services, offers, and the possibility of receiving related advertising. The private information of each customer will not be shared with third parties, except for postal delivery agencies or state entities when necessary. It is mandatory to complete the required fields with valid, true, and updated information.

La Fontaine reserves the right to modify in any way or manner any data contained on the Website, including but not limited to adding, deleting, and/or changing articles, prices, and other conditions related to the goods on display, at any time.
